Did you know…that you can use extra virgin OliveOil to cook rice?

Toast the rice is an optional step in cooking rice but it gives the rice a more nutty and toasted flavor! Just sauté the rice in some OliveOil before adding the water.

  1. Warm a teaspoon of oil over medium-high heat in the pot where you’ll cook the rice.
  2. Add the rice and toast until the rice is dry and starting to look slightly toasted on the tips.
  3. It will also start to smell fragrant and nutty.
